1. Meeting for team leaders
to work on our outreach strategies for students, to pray, to encourage each other and learn what God is doing in our cities through our students and staff. This time we also had to say goodbye to some of our staff who stepped down from their leadership roles and transitioning to the new team/ministries/organisations following God’s lead.
2. Retreat for women
We have 7 Associate team leaders and my team decided to organise a small retreat for them, to thank these hardworking and capable ladies and bless them with fellowship with one another. It was a special time of connection, laughter, sharing our burdens and our joys in life and ministry.
3. Discipleship training in Ostrog
Ostrog ministry was a cherry on a cake for me this past year. I just loved watching how God is using these students to spread knowledge about Him and to build disciples. For two days with the help of our friend David from the Mentor-link ministry we studied the principles of how Jesus was making disciples and how we can apply it now-days. "Dream Big, Start Small and Go deep" was our major practical takeaway from this training. For me personally it was helpful to be renewed in this idea: “Quality approach might lead to quantity. Quantity approach almost never or rare lead to quality.”
Please pray :
- Ministry needs: on June 12th we are organising a big event for church leaders, youth pastors, partnering mission organisations to talk how we can unite forces in reaching Ukrainian students. Pray we will be able to establish some good connections and find several churches that we can train in evangelism and discipleship, sharing our tools and experience
- Future Ministry - Please join me in prayer to understand where God wants to use my gifts and heart passions in the US. I love CRU and I want to try to continue serving with CRU in Texas where we will hopefully move with Johnny in the end of this year. At this point I am seeking what would be the best fit for me. I am spending time on zooms with different ministry leaders in Houston to see what’s out there. Pray God directs me to the good team there
